Luna is the inspiration behind my first children’s book, Sit Down, Luna!. As a young dancer, she was always practicing her moves—at home, in stores, at family gatherings, and just about everywhere she went! Watching her passion, determination, and confidence grow inspired me to turn her story into a book.

Luna has taught me that when you work hard, believe in yourself, and never give up, you can achieve your goals. Seeing how readers have connected with her story has been incredibly rewarding and has inspired me to continue writing. While Stop It, Jack! is not based on a real person, it shares a similar spirit of perseverance and imagination. Creating Sit Down, Luna! showed me how a simple, true story can inspire young readers and spark imagination, confidence, and joy. The experience inspired me to continue writing, and I can’t wait to share more stories, characters, and adventures with young readers in the years to come.
